On Oct 30th, Avery and I took one last trip to the pumpkin patch- Plymouth Orchards to be exact. It was totally deserted and they had almost no pumpkins left, but it was still super fun. They had cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, etc. Avery hated the cows, sheep, and pigs because they made too much noise. For some reason, she loves animals, but does NOT like when they bark, moo, baa, etc. It's actually entertaining. She did love all the birds- ducks and chickens. Here she is very seriously studying the ducks. =)
We went on a hayride through the apple orchard- much more relaxing than the hayride in Dexter!
It's getting cold around here so we had to bust out the winter hat!
Here are Kaitlyn and Avery on Halloween- very pooped from our "trick or treating" in downtown Ann Arbor Friday morning. They loved looking at all the kids in costumes.
They got their second wind when we went to the children's museum. Then Halloween night, we went to play with Jess and Kaitlyn again at their house, plus a few others. We ate yummy chili and played with Kaitlyn's fun toys and watched the trick or treaters come by. I can't believe I didn't get a pictures of the kids!
Here's Avery playing with her new pumpkin. She LOVES pumpkins, especially the small ones she can carry.
Here she is pouting because she'd had to wear that uncomfortable kitty hat all day!

Here are Dave, Avery the kitty, the toy kitty, and the real kitty. We told Dawkins that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery- so he tolerated a hug.

We stopped by to visit Katie, Bob, and Tommy. He looked too cute as Winnie the Pooh!
Here are some pics from last year of Avery in honor of ole' Winnie:
Here Avery is enjoying the park on the last day before winter starts (yes, it snowed today). This is Mushroom Park- with the greatest tree in Ann Arbor!
Of course we brought the popper.
Avery really liked watching all of the leaves fall- it was just a little breeze, but it looked like it was raining leaves =)
Here are some pics from this weekend when I tried to get a good photo of Avery in her Baylor shirt to send into the magazine. Unfortunately she wouldn't be still for one second so they all look like this:

I'll use an earlier one from when she wasn't so mobile. =)Until next time!
