Snow Dayz

Sorry for the delay in updating my loyal blog readers!! We've used all of our spare time these last few weeks cleaning/organizing the house- only a couple more weeks until it goes on the market. Yikes! As you may have heard, we have been bombarded with snow and freezing temps lately. Here's what it looks like on my poor back porch- guess I waited too late to bring the seat cushions in!

Avery and I have been entertaining ourselves pretty well indoors. Though unfortunately Avery is big into climbing everything right now- on the coffee table, on the couch, on the bed, on the cedar chest, and even on her little car.

So we've started implementing time out =( She doesn't like to be in trouble so it works pretty well!
We've read lots of books

We've tried unsuccessfully to get a super cute smiley Valentine's picture (though look, she sits like a Mabry!)
And of course we've played outside lots and lots... check out the bib snow pants- they were mine when I was her age! It hasn't gotten above freezing in so long- the snow keeps piling up and up!

We tried to get a cute snow angel picture to match last year's:

But now that she has a mind of her own, she's like, uh why did you lay me in this snow pile?! No smiles for that!And better yet- I can get myself outta here =)

We invested in a sleigh and that's been a big hit
