So sorry for the delay (again). We have been crazy around here, mainly since I am in the busiest season at work, and also because we've been traveling so much lately. I haven't had a chance to sit down and blog or upload pictures, though I have much better ones than these that I will hopefully put up soon. Let's see... several weekends ago, Avery and I went to visit Mom and Dad in Hickman while Dave was at a bachelor party. We visited the corn fields and now Avery knows all about corn- how the combine picks it, puts it in the wagon, gets pulled by the tractor which is driven by Aunt Katie. She could probably teach me a thing or two.

The next weekend, Nancy and Jim came to our house to visit and to help out with a few more projects. Unfortunately I don't have any pics, but we had so much fun and Avery and Nana and Daddy Jim are bigger buddies than ever.
This past weekend was my 10 year high school reunion at Baylor. It was "Baylor-McCallie Weekend", our school's biggest rival, so the football game was a blast (we won!). Saturday, Dave ran a 50k trail run (yes, he's insane) and Avery and I went to our class picnic to see the other Baylor Babies. That night was our party at the Foundry of the Chattanoogan- so crazy to see everyone after 10 years.
Some big news lately is that Avery doesn't take the pacifier anymore! Our pediatrician recommended that we go ahead and get rid of it, so Avery and Dave had a long talk about it, and after that she says that paci's are for babies and that she's a big girl. It's so crazy! Of course she has a much harder time falling asleep now and I am very sad to see that paci go in many ways, but I'm proud of Avery for handling it so well. Bedtimes and naptimes are not going so well anymore... send any advice my way if you have any!
Oh let's see... any other big news... oh yes, we are expecting another baby! Baby Morris #2 is due on Feb 15. Things have gone very well so far and I've been feeling fine, just tired, but I'm not sure whether to attribute it to being pregnant, moving, or carting around a 30lb two year old all day. We are definitely nervous about having 2 little ones running around but we're very excited, and I know Avery will be a great big sister. And guess what- it's a girl!
