Beach, Wedding, Race

After Halloween, Mom, Avery, and I drove down to Destin for a few days before we had to be in Birmingham for Kristopher Kimball's wedding that weekend. The weather was beautiful so we had lots of fun playing on the beach, shopping, eating out, playing, and even swimming when we found a heated pool.
Avery really loves hanging out in the yard outside the condo and feeding the ducks. Those poor ducks are now chock full of corn, bread, fruit loops, and pecans. Sorry guys!
On our way back from Destin, Mom dropped me off in Birmingham and I met Dave for Kristopher Kimball's wedding to his beautiful bride, Jessica Brush. Kimball was Dave's good friend in med school and was the best man in our wedding. Mom took Avery back up to Nashville to stay at our house so we could have an Avery-free weekend alone. Thanks Mom! Lots of our friends from med school were at the wedding, I can't believe we didn't get a group picture =( It was so much fun to see everyone again. This was the last of our reunion/wedding weekends this fall. We have seen so many friends so that's been great, but we also have had plans every weekend since the middle of August. Whew!

Dave was the best man this weekend and did a great job in my opinion! Here he is toasting Kristopher and Jessica.
This past weekend, Dave ran a half marathon here in Nashville and took Avery along for the ride. They were so cute together, and Avery was a big hit during the race- waving her pom pom, cheering, snacking on candy in her stroller. She was such a good girl, as usual =)
