Beach
The day before Easter, we headed down to SanDestin to spend a few days at the beach. We had so much fun! Here is Avery hunting eggs that the Easter Bunny hid for her outside Mom & Dad's condo:
We were so excited to overlap our trip a few days with our dear friends, the McKinneys. Here are Jared & Emma, Dave & Avery jumping in the waves. This is what Avery said her favorite activity was during our whole trip. "Jumping in the big water"
Here are some of us girls after a yummy dinner at Red Bar, a snow cone, and some running around in the grass

What a fun week!!
Easter
Sorry for the delay, folks! Avery is phasing out of her nap so I have a hard time finding time to blog... or anything else mildly productive =) Anyway, here are some pics from Easter a few weeks ago:
Making rice krispie ducks with sprinkles:
Church Easter Egg Hunt with friend Claire- unfortunately it was raining so it had to be an indoor easter egg hunt:
Easter pics with Mom and Dad:
Trying with no luck to get a cute spring picture in our yard with the pretty blooming trees and tulips:

The Fairvue Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch with the Easter Bunny. Lucy slept through most of it and Avery had a blast!

Lucy smiling
Lucy has been smiling a bit over the last week or so, and I finally caught it on video. I guess she is finally used to the close up kisses from Avery, since that's when she smiles the most! Here's some sisterly love to brighten your day =)
A Big Thank You
I've been wanting to post a big THANK YOU for all of the wonderful gifts we've gotten from family and friends to welcome Baby Lucy into the world. I really appreciate all the super cute things, and I hope you didn't feel like we were expecting anything. We are very blessed to have lots of baby girl clothes and accessories left over from Avery, but it is nice to have new fun things and for Lucy to not have all hand-me-downs =) Avery has really loved her big sister gifts too. Again, unnecessary, she does understand that it's Lucy's "birthday" and that she doesn't always have to get something when Lucy does, but she loves presents all the same. My cousin Sara and her lovely kids Hannah, Rachel, Emily, and Ben definitely knew what a 2 year old girl would love- bubbles, stickers, and a fluffy pink tutu! Here is Avery dancing with joy in her new tutu. Ya'll are the best!
