Ooohh... let's start a blog!

I've noticed that lots of our friends have blogs these days, showing off pics of babies, trips, etc., so I thought maybe we should jump on the blogspot bandwagon also! I'll try to keep you up to date on Avery photos, milestones, and general everyday life, as well as tidbits on her parents. =)


Things are going beautifully in the Morris family these days, Avery is such a joy. Just this week, it's like crawling has "clicked" for her, and she's off to the races. Last weekend's project was installing the baby gate at the top of our basement stairs and putting soft cushions on the corners of our coffee table, but we have quite a lot of baby-proofing still to accomplish. Avery can definitely get where she wants to go, and she usually wants to go where she shouldn't... her current favorite playtoys: the cat, newspaper/magazines, plastic sacks, mommy's purse. She keeps us on our toes!
The weather has been BEAUTIFUL this week here in Ann Arbor, so we've been going to the park most days. Avery is an excellent swinger.


My project this morning was uploading a YouTube video of our trip to Destin earlier this month. It isn't edited down at all and isn't TOO exciting, but I thought yall might like to see Avery's first trip to the beach:
