A few weekends ago, my dear friend Emily Felker came into Nashville for a wedding so we were so excited to meet up with her! She hadn't seen Avery since Dec 07 and had never met Lucy so we had lots of fun catching up. She is having her own little bundle of joy this summer and we can't wait to meet him!!
Here are some pictures from the super-fun birthday party that Avery went to last weekend for her friend Bryce. It was at a park where they played, ate cake, and rode tricycles until we walked 50 yards over to the fire station! Avery was very impressed with the fire station and still talks about it all the time. The firefighters were so nice- they let the kids poke around inside the fire truck, gave them cute plastic fireman hats, and even rode around the playground with the sirens blazing and sprayed a cool stream of water out in the parking lot. It was great!
Here Avery is at Peek-a-boo Playtown, which is a new play place that opened up here in Hendersonville last week. She is dressed up like a fireman and drove the fire truck cozy coupe the whole time we were there. I told you she was impressed with the fire station!
