Photo Shoot

The Morris's had another fun weekend! Friday night was the Urology Roast- a night of debauchery where the urology residents roast those finishing up this year and party like rock stars together one last time. The spouses aren't included in this "party," so I had the wives and kids over to our house. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures!! Avery and I hosted 8 ladies and 2 little girls for Potbelly Sandwiches and cocktails. It was super fun, and several of the ladies stayed and hung out with me until it was time to meet the guys out downtown. I, of course, just drank my pina colada and went to bed, but that's fine with me!

With the beautiful weather recently, Avery and I have been walking/jogging in the mornings. (Yes, it's cool enough that she needs a hooded jacket and warm up pants) Here is a picture of Avery stretching before we left. She wanted to borrow my sweat band so I let her.
Nice teeth!

During the rest of the weekend, we just hung out, ran errands, did laundry and other exciting stuff like that. Today, my friend Heather Thorne was in town so she came and took pictures of Avery, Dave, and me. Her husband was here for residency and we became friends through Junior League, but they moved to Texas last year. She's a great photographer, and I'm excited to see the pictures she took. They probably won't be ready for several weeks though. If you go to her website (I linked it to her name above), Avery is the 2nd to last picture in her children's gallery. This was taken back in October- crazy how much she's changed!

In spirit of the photo session and Avery's 10 month birthday this week, I did a little photo session of my own. The lighting was perfect of course until the moment I stepped outside, so they're a little squinty, and Avery was in a very wiggly mood, but there are a couple of cute ones. I love Avery in her little smocked dress- enjoy!

This is Avery saying "MOM- we are DONE taking pictures. " =) So that's it until next time!
