She can dance AND sing

This morning while I was checking my email, Avery was hanging out in the pack-n-play. She didn't know I was watching (or taping) her, but she was just dancing along to her ipod and singing too. So funny- she dances and sings a lot now. Hopefully she inherited her Nana's singing abilities instead of her Mom's =) It's a little too early to tell, but quite amusing none the less. Now she can even click the "ipod" to go to the next song all on her own. She's a genius!

Not much else to report from this week- got lots of work done and then ran errands today. It's cold here! High of like 65 today. This morning we went for a walk and I had to dig out Avery's winter hat and I put a blanket around her. Honestly, it's pretty nice. Much better than 95 degrees. People say, "oh, you must hate the weather in Michigan" but we really don't!

Here's a picture from Monday night when we had spaghetti. This is Mom's famous spaghetti recipe, which is my favorite comfort food of all time. I decided it would be okay for Avery to have too, and she loved it! Ah, a girl after my own heart. I pulled her sauce out before I added the salt, and she had cut up rigatoni instead of spaghetti noodles, but it was the Sanger Family Spaghetti all the same. She wasn't too sure about the ground beef in there, but she eventually got used to it. Looks yummy right? (this was after she picked out all of the pasta)
